Seminole Canyon

Along US 90 West between Del Rio and Langtry Texas is a stretch of landscape that is wild, desolate and harshly beautiful. The region is part of the eastern edge of the Chihuahuan Desert of Texas and is cut by the Rio Grande, the Pecos River and various canyons. Seminole Canyon is part of this region. It is known for its cave shelters and pictographs painted by pre-historic people over 12,000 years ago.
